2月3日・4日に卒業論文発表会、2月6日・7日に修士論文発表会が開催され、私たちの研究室からは、卒論発表会に3名、修論発表会に2名が参加しました。いずれの発表も、約1か月にわたって練習を重ねてきた成果がよく表れており、内容が整理された分かりやすい発表だったと思います。発表練習を通じて、自分がどのような研究を行ってきたのか、そして何がまだ十分に理解できていないのかを、改めて明確に認識する良い機会になったのではないでしょうか。今後は学会発表など、より専門的な立場の研究者からの質問や批判を受ける場も増えていきます。今回の経験を糧に、説得力のある発表を心がけて、引き続き努力してください。
The undergraduate thesis presentations were held on February 3 and 4, followed by the master’s thesis presentations on February 6 and 7. From our laboratory, three students participated in the undergraduate thesis presentations, and two students presented their work at the master’s thesis presentations. All of the presentations clearly reflected the results of nearly a month of intensive preparation and rehearsal, and the content was well organized and easy to follow. Through the process of practicing their presentations, the students were able to gain a clearer understanding of their own research, as well as to recognize the aspects that still require further clarification. Looking ahead, they will have opportunities to present their work at academic conferences and other venues where they will receive feedback from specialists in the field. I encourage them to build on this experience and continue working toward presentations that can withstand critical discussion from a more expert audience.
