台湾南部最大の都市である高雄を訪れ、古川が3つの大学（10/15@国立中山大学・10/16@国立高雄大学・10/17@高雄医学大学）で講演を行ってきました。それぞれの大学で、学生からの質問もあり、私たちの研究を紹介することができました。常夏の場所とはいえ、この時期にはない暑さでしたが、台湾の街並みも堪能してきました。
Furukawa visited Kaohsiung, the largest city in southern Taiwan, and gave talks at three universities—Oct 15 at National Sun Yat-sen University, Oct 16 at National University of Kaohsiung, and Oct 17 at Kaohsiung Medical University. At each campus we received thoughtful questions from students and had a valuable opportunity to present our research. Although Kaohsiung is warm year-round, it was unusually hot for the season; nevertheless, we also enjoyed exploring the city’s streetscapes.
