6/3から6/5まで奈良春日野国際フォーラムにて開催されたISABC15（第１５回 応用生物無機化学国際シンポジウム）に古川が参加してSOD1の酸化的ミスフォールディング機構に関する発表を行い、引き続き、6/7に北海道大学学術交流会館で開催されたBiometal Science 2019にも参加して、ALSに関する講演を行ってきました。奈良はかなり暑かったですが、札幌に着くと半袖ではかなり肌寒く驚きました。北海道大学ではちょうど学祭期間中ということで、賑わっていました。そのあと、矢上キャンパスに戻って、6/8に開催された医工連携シンポジウムにてタンパク質のミスフォールディングに関する講演を行いました。何かと忙しい一週間でしたが、色々な話を聞くことができた有意義な一週間でした。
Furukawa did poster presentation on oxidative misfolding mechanism of SOD1 at 15th International Symposium on Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry (ISABC15), which was held at Nara Kasugano International Forum from June 3rd to June 5th. Also, Furukawa gave a lecture on ALS at Biometal Science 2019 in Hokkaido Univ. on June 7th. After coming back to Yagami campus, Furukawa gave a talk about protein misfolding at the symposium for medicine-engineering cooperation on June 8th. It was very hot in Nara but was pretty chilly in Sapporo.
